Spring Racing Carnival
( 5 October- 23 November 2006 )
Each year, Victoria is buzzing with Spring Racing Carnival excitement. More than any other racing event, the Spring Racing Carnival captures the excitement and glamour of Victoria. It unites the people of the State, with national and international visitors, in a celebration of racing, fashion, food and entertainment. Race days are held at various venues across the state.

Arts Festival Melbourne International Arts Festival
(12 June – 28 October 2006)
Melbourne International Arts Festival is one of Australia's leading international arts festivals and has an outstanding reputation for presenting unique international and Australian events in the fields of dance, theatre, music, visual arts, multimedia, free and outdoor events over 17 days each October. This festival will showcase the best of local and overseas artists by highlighting urban contemporary art from around the globe, vibrant dancers from Africa, lively theatrical performances from Europe and rhythmic music from South America.

Yarra River Shuttle Service
Relax, take in the beautiful river views and discover Melbourne on board the Yarra River Shuttle Service.

Hop On Hop Off as you please at any of the 8 stops, every 30 minutes from 1 November 2006 - 15 April 2007. This service is only available on weekends and public holidays only.

To swim amongst these wild dolphins and seals is one of the greatest experiences of life! Moonraker Dolphin Swims is a family owned and operated company that offers both 3-hr snorkel and sightseeing cruises daily from October to May.

The Enchanted Maze Garden

Get lost in the traditional hedge maze – 500 metres of manicured Leighton Green hedge. Discover the magnificent Japanese garden in the centre, and to make things more challenging try to locate the five different Buddha’s. Next, move on down the hill to the labyrinth.

Not for getting lost in, this maze is laid out on the ground. Great for a contemplative meander or wear the kids out racing around.

Finally the children’s maze, not really a maze but a series of walled gardens all especially themed up for the kids. The African savannah, the beach box, the fairy and dinosaur gardens are all within this maze.
